portrait of a life: good

I had lunch with a kind and wise mentor today, and it was good.

I had a scary conversation with positive results, and it was good.

I went with my brother and Grandpa to see Call of the Wild and we went out for ice cream after, and it was good.

I came home and hugged and played with my dog and called my mom, and it was good.

I’ve struggled with escapism lately, a strong urge to just get up and go. Jesus told me I have to start running where I am.

That’s what today felt like. Just running.

And it was good.
